One of the key skills of management professions in today's world is the ability to solve difficult, non-standard problems. The competitive environment and growing demands of the 21st century society require acting fast. The need to effectively find new non-standard solutions, as well as to create new successful innovative business systems and business products are becoming the highest priority. Most of such tasks require extraordinary and creative thinking.

Technology and tools of systematic innovative thinking based on TRIZ - the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving - are now actively implemented in various organizations all over the world. Originally developed to support technical innovation and used by many global companies, nowadays TRIZ is used in other areas as well. The term "Business TRIZ" is used for TRIZ methods and tools created and adapted to support the search for innovative business and management solutions.

The "BUSINESS TRIZ ONLINE - FALL 2026" conference invites anyone interested in learning what current state of the art of Business TRIZ is, how to apply it, and to discuss challenges and opportunities for the Business TRIZ community.

The conference "BUSINESS TRIZ ONLINE 2026" will be held in English.

TARGET AUDIENCE

We invite both listeners and speakers to the conference: TRIZ specialists, business professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, middle and top managers, consultants and trainers as well as students.

APPLICATIONS

We invite speakers to participate in the online conference and make presentations (up to 20 mins inlcuding Q/A) in the following areas:

• Methods and theoretical foundations of TRIZ for business and management.
• TRIZ tools for business and management.
• Integration of Business TRIZ methods and tools with other methods and tools.
• Practices of applying TRIZ in solving actual business problems, creating new business models and business products.
• Experience of teaching Business TRIZ.
• Cases: solutions found and implemented by using TRIZ for business and management.

Other topics related to TRIZ for Business and Management are welcome.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

• Presentation title
• Name of a speaker and all contributors.
• Name of an organization represented by the speaker and contributors.
• City and country of the speaker and each co-author.

The presentation template will be provided.

Business TRIZ IBTA Alumni Forum (in Russian) was successfully held on May 30-31, 2025. 13 spakers presented their latest achievemnts in the development of Business TRIZ.

Business TRIZ Online Conference 2025 (in Chinese), organized by the International Business TRIZ Association (IBTA) , hosted by IBTA China and College of Economics and Management Hebei University of Economics and Business, was successfully held on May 24-25, 2025.

As the second offline Business TRIZ Conference(in Chinese), this event attracted more than 100 TRIZ specialists, practitioners, enthusiasts and students from China and Malaysia, which can also be seen that Business TRIZ in China is receiving an increasing attention. The confernce on May 24th was the presentation communication, panel discussion and meeting of IBTA China team, while May 25th was the tutorials trained by Mr. Han Bing, a member of IBTA Board and the head of IBTA China. Of course, all the activities are in Chinese only.

 A lot of highlights can be found in this conference: 13 speakers from colleges, institutes and enterprises shared their presentations on theories, tools or cases, 2 tutorials including new research development of Business TRIZ and Innovative Thinking Methods for students, 1 valuable Panel Discussion, a lot of inspiration with new topics, opinions and cases, and full of passion, devotion, sincerity, and diligence. The participants discussed actively and the mood was very lively. Everything indicates that Business TRIZ in China is developing rapidly!

In addition, "student presentation" section has added from this conference. students who have completed a well IBTA certification project defense will have the opportunity to make a presentation at this conference. Based on the suggestions of TRIZ specialists on site, they will revise their presentation and also have the opportunity to be recommended to make a presentation at other international TRIZ event. Mr. Han Bing hopes that more and more Chinese Business TRIZ specialists can share their research achievements in Business TRIZ and spread to the world.

On the meeting of IBTA China team, main tasks of the following year have been determined. Besides, it was unanimously agreed that Dr. Wang Wenfu and Mr. Wu Yannan are absorbed in IBTA China team. So far, IBTA China team has a total of 8 members, which the combination has a special meaning in Chinese culture - “the Eight Immortals”, an organic combination of unity, cooperation, and individual effort.

This conference is extremely successful indeed. Everyone is grateful to IBTA for providing such a platform and looking forward the next Business TRIZ event in Chinese! The conference organizers plan to hold more activities on Business TRIZ in China. Looking forward to the next Business TRIZ event!
